Bovington
Bovington Camp is a small village with a
population of 2,100 people (best estimate from 2001 census)and
is home to the Royal Armoured Corp and its training grounds.
It was here that T.E. Lawrence, (Lawrence
of Arabia) served as a simple private in the Royal Armoured
Corp. Bovington is also home to The Tank Museum which houses
the world's largest and finest collection of armoured fighting
vehicles from over 26 countries.
