Studland
Studland has one of the best beaches
on the south coast coupled with large areas of National Trust
owned heathland which include Agglestone Rock on Godlingston
Heath.
The village iself is tucked away a
few hundred yards from the beach with it’s residents enjoying
traditional countryside living with a local shop, parish church,
riding stables, and an international standard 18 hole golf
course. Mains electricity, water and drainage all serve the
village.
The beach arcs from the impressive
Old Harry Rocks jutting seaward from Ballard Down (seperating
Studland from Swanage to the South) and gentley curves northwards
for several miles until it meets Shell Bay at a sandy headland.

From here it is a short chain ferry
ride to the Sandbanks Peninsular linking the Isle of Purbeck
with Poole.
